Hi, I’m Deborah Mosley — Founder & CEO of Benevolence Transitional Housing Inc.
I’m a passionate criminal justice professional with over 15 years of experience working in the field. Through my work, I’ve seen firsthand how cycles of instability, home insecurity, and limited resources can hold people back from reaching their full potential. I hold a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration, but my greatest education has come from walking alongside individuals navigating some of life’s toughest challenges.

I’m a passionate advocate, community builder, and believer in second chances. I started Benevolence Transitional Housing Inc. because I saw firsthand how many young adults were slipping through the cracks — bright, capable people who just needed a little support, guidance, and opportunity to get back on their feet.

As someone who has navigated life’s challenges and overcome obstacles of my own, I know how powerful it can be to have a safe place to land, learn, and grow. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to empower young adults with the resources, life skills, and community connections they need to lead independent, fulfilling lives.

Housing
Safe Transitional Housing:
A stable environment for up to 24 months of personal growth.

Career Readiness
Offering resume building. Job search support, interview preparation and career and education path exploration.
Individualized Plan
Upon Acceptance:
An intake assessment will be completed, and a care plan will be developed addressing your specific needs.

Mentorship
Positive Role Models: Giving participants the opportunity to build relationships with mentors who reflect resilience, stability, and success.

Life Skills
Providing Essential Tools: Equipping young adults with the tools needed to confidently navigate adulthood.

Personal Wellness
Using a Holistic approach to addressing Mental, Emotional, and Physical health by developing stress management skills and self-care practices.
